Artist's Statement
I strive to evoke a sense of passion and intrigue through my work. I use a range of techniques, thickly applied oil paints and pastels, and a vivid palette to create dynamic compositions of places and experiences that inspire happiness, memories, and reflection. I have been a life-long student of fine art and find joy in exploring all that is possible with oil paint. I received my Certificate in Painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Spring 2009 and show my work in local galleries and exhibitions.

I enjoy working from ideas for inspiration— be it your favorite travel destination, restaurant, or nature scene. I’ll share updates along the way to be sure the painting is all that you envision.
